STALDRUT-ORNETA Sp. z o.o. (limited liability company) was established based on a family company founded in 1985 and named Ślusarstwo Maszynowe i Wyroby z Drutu (Machine Locksmithing and Wire Products).
The production plant is based in Orneta, a picturesque town in the Warmia region, while the company headquarters is located in Warsaw.
The company is managed by Vice President Dagmara Frank-Stachacz and President Jacek Stachacz.
In its early days, the company was involved in the production of wires and Rabitz nets only. As years went by, we adapted our manufacture to the requirements of the free market and expanded it to include other wire products used not only in construction, but also in recycling, metalwork and floristry.
Adapting the technology to this type of manufacture required upgrading the production line. We have expanded our machinery park with three Italian wire making machines, two 12- and 7-drum dry drawing machine and one wet drawing machine. These technologies made us the first Polish plant to process fi 5.5 wire rod directly into the final product, fi 1 wire. We have modernised the wire annealing line, which has increased our productivity by 100% while reducing electricity consumption.
In 2023, we purchased an automatic line for the production and packaging of steel fiber used to reinforce industrial floors.
We use our own transport – self-unloading lorries with a lift or HDS.
